A vocational and psychological assessment provide a thorough examination of a person's psychological functioning, cognitive abilities, learning potential, academic skills, vocational aptitudes, transferable skills, vocational interests, and psychological functioning. The information obtained from a vocational and psychological assessment can help determine a person's vocational capacity, vocational trajectory absent and following the injury, their competitive employability, retraining potential, and earnings loss and capacity. As such, vocational and psychological assessments are frequently used to determine income replacement loss in personal injury, psychological injury including from sexual abuse or an assault, disability insurance, and medical-legal cases.

I am a registrant of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, the College of Alberta Psychologists, the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, the Yukon Government under the Health Professions Act, and the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. In addition, I am a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators, the Canadian Pain Society, and the American Board of Vocational Experts.
